Use this catalog to find live free OpenVPN servers. We continuously check reachability, speed and latency, mark rows by freshness, hide zero-speed endpoints from the table, and give you a short-lived .ovpn download only for VPN endpoints that are working at the time of download.
Use the Live VPN Export Builder when you need a fresh, machine-readable snapshot of checked public OpenVPN servers. Filter the list by country, TCP or UDP protocol, port, checked speed, latency, freshness and Network score, then download CSV, JSON, TXT or XML.
The export contains public catalog metadata and measurement results, not raw .ovpn files. Each generated file is immutable and its temporary link expires after six hours, so return to build a new snapshot when you need current server status.
The PublicVPNList API provides machine-readable information about checked public VPN servers, countries, protocols and current catalog statistics. Developers can query the JSON API with filters for country, protocol, speed, latency and check freshness, or use conditional requests with ETag and Last-Modified headers.
For scheduled analysis and offline tools, ready-made OpenVPN server datasets are available in JSON, CSV, TXT and XML, with manifests and checksums for file verification. Public exports contain catalog metadata and measurement results; raw .ovpn configurations are not included in bulk datasets.
For browsing and streaming, start with higher Mbps. For calls, gaming or remote work, choose a nearby country with lower latency. Public VPN servers are operated by third parties, so avoid sending sensitive traffic unless you trust the endpoint and have reviewed the configuration.
This catalog currently shows 4778 live public VPN rows with measured speed across 62 countries. Availability, speed and latency are refreshed as checks complete, and only endpoints that pass real checks are shown for download.
