Free Proxy List: HTTP, SOCKS4 & SOCKS5
Find public HTTP, HTTPS CONNECT, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies that passed real HTTPS requests and a changed exit-IP check. Compare recent results, filter by country and download the list in the format your client needs.

Download config saves a cURL .conf file for the selected endpoint. Open Details for the plain-text address file and usage instructions.
Connectivity is not a privacy guarantee. Public proxy operators are unverified. Keep HTTPS enabled and avoid sensitive accounts. Source country describes the endpoint, which can differ from its exit. Read the methodology and limits.
Choose a proxy by evidence, not just a country flag
The table shows successful checks from our own local computers. Response time includes the HTTPS connection and a short response, so it differs from ping and cannot predict sustained bandwidth. Check age tells you when the measurement happened; it does not promise the endpoint will remain available. The success column shows the sample size as well as successful attempts.
Select HTTP for applications with an HTTP proxy setting. Choose SOCKS5 when the client supports it and you need control over hostname resolution. SOCKS4 is available for older clients. Our HTTPS CONNECT category is a capability filter over HTTP endpoints, so its count overlaps with the HTTP list.
Start with a recent result and run a single request without personal credentials. If the request fails, use a short timeout and try another endpoint. Compare the protocols or follow the Firefox setup guide.

Counts include only currently eligible checks. Country pages contain the matching endpoints and current measurement summaries.
Free proxy list questions
Are these proxies free to download?
Yes. The proxy catalog and TXT, CSV and JSON exports do not require registration. Public endpoints are operated by third parties and may stop accepting connections at any time.
How often are the checks updated?
The two local checkers collect source lists approximately every 30 minutes and process separate candidate queues. Successful endpoints become eligible for another check after 15 minutes, subject to load. Published results expire after one hour. Each row shows its actual check time.
Does HTTPS mean the proxy itself is encrypted?
Here it means an HTTP proxy passed HTTPS traffic through CONNECT. Use an http:// proxy address for these rows. TLS to the proxy itself is a different capability and is not asserted by this label.
Can I use this list as a VPN?
These are application proxy endpoints, not OpenVPN or WireGuard configurations. They route traffic from software configured to use them. See proxy vs VPN to choose the right connection type.
Why is a source listing missing from this table?
It may still be queued, have failed our checks, be a duplicate, have an unsupported address or authentication requirement, or have an expired result. Source inclusion alone is not evidence of a working connection.
