VPN config QR code generator

Turn a supported VPN or proxy configuration into a QR code in this browser. The payload is not uploaded, logged or sent to analytics. QR codes often contain reusable credentials, so treat the image as a secret.

Generate locally

Processed locally. The configuration was not sent from this browser.

Maximum QR payload: 2,400 bytes. Longer configs should be transferred as an encrypted file instead.

Supported formats and limits

The generator accepts WireGuard text and VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, TUIC or AnyTLS share URIs. It uses a vendored MIT-licensed QR encoder and performs all encoding locally. The size cap avoids creating an extremely dense code that mobile cameras cannot scan reliably.

Anyone who can scan the QR may obtain its embedded password, UUID, token or private key. Delete downloaded images when no longer needed, do not place them in shared photo libraries and rotate exposed credentials.

Frequently asked questions

Is my QR payload uploaded?
No. The vendored encoder runs locally in the browser and receives the string only in page memory.
Why is there a 2,400-byte limit?
QR capacity depends on error correction and character encoding. The conservative cap avoids unreadably dense outputs.
Does Clear erase downloaded files?
No. It clears the input and in-page preview. Delete any PNG or SVG you already downloaded separately.
