License for Use of the Catalog & Disclaimer

Summary: We publish a free VPN catalog collected from public sources and we regularly test speed, latency and availability. We do not operate these servers and offer no guarantees about their behavior or safety. You use any configuration at your own risk.

1. Definitions

• “Catalog” — this website and related materials (pages, tables, JSON, API) that publish VPN endpoints, metrics and download links.
• “Configuration” — connection parameters/files (e.g., .ovpn) provided by third parties and found in public sources.
• “Server Operator” — the individual or organization that actually owns/administers a given VPN server.
• “We/Us” — the catalog team that aggregates public data and measurements; we are not a VPN provider.

2. Granted Rights (Permissive Use)

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use catalog data under the following terms:

• Personal and commercial use of catalog data is allowed (browse, filter, export CSV/JSON, integrate with the API) subject to this license.
• Quoting/reposting with source attribution (a hyperlink to the service) is allowed.
• Caching and internal redistribution within your organization for lawful purposes is allowed.

3. Restrictions

• Do not misrepresent yourself as the catalog or as an owner/operator of listed servers.
• No bulk scraping that circumvents single-use download tokens or other anti-abuse measures.
• Do not use configurations for unlawful activity or to infringe the rights of others (including but not limited to copyright violations, fraud, spam, or attacks).
• When redistributing derived lists/dumps, include source attribution and measurement date; do not falsify metrics.

4. Nature and Source of Data

All VPN configurations here are collected from public sources on the internet and marked as free/public by their owners. We do not create or run these servers, do not control their logging policies, cryptographic settings, uptime or geography.

5. Measurements (Speed, Latency, Availability)

We run regular independent checks: reachability/handshake, throughput estimates (Mbps), median round-trip latency (ms), and approximate uptime (%). These values are informational/indicative and may differ from your experience due to ISP routing, time of day, client settings, etc.

6. No Warranties (AS IS)

The catalog is provided “AS IS”, without any express or implied warranties of fitness, availability, security, non-infringement, merchantability, or otherwise. We do not warrant that:

• configurations will work continuously or at all;
• measured speed/latency/uptime will meet your expectations;
• connections are safe for sensitive data;
• server operators follow any particular policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our contributors/partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of data/profit/reputation) arising from use or inability to use the catalog/configurations, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You use configurations and metrics at your own risk.

8. Privacy & Security

We are not a VPN provider and do not route your traffic through our own exit nodes. Distribution of configuration files is protected by single-use tokens with a short TTL to limit scraping; this is an anti-abuse control, not user authentication. Logging/encryption/jurisdiction questions fall under the responsibility of each Server Operator.

9. Third-Party Rights

Rights to specific configurations and servers belong to their respective owners/operators. If you are a rightsholder and believe a link/configuration infringes your rights or usage terms, see the takedown section below.

10. Takedown Policy

We promptly review requests from server owners/operators to remove or adjust a listing upon verified ownership. Please include: domain/host, country/location, port, a link to the catalog entry, and a way to verify ownership. See the Contacts page.

11. Export Control & Local Laws

You are responsible for complying with your local laws (including encryption/export restrictions and any VPN-related regulations). Use of the catalog/configurations is permitted only for lawful purposes.

12. Changes to this License

We may update this text from time to time. The current version is always available on this page and applies from the moment of publication.
